Hi Darren,

We did Cocoon2NetKernel to see if would help Cocoon uses to experiment with NetKernel. As it turned out most of the functionality of cocoon was already available natively and c2nak was a bit clunky - much easier just to work with a clean NetKernel installation. It hasn''t been maintained for a long while.

Cheers,
Tony

Please don''t waste a lot of time or keystrokes in response because I think I know the answer but I just wanted to confirm that the Cocoon2NetKernel project is dead? And there''s nothing analogous available today?

Apparently the goal was to let you use some of Coccon''s classes ("generators", "transformers", and "serializers") directly from NetKernel to ease the migration of existing Cocoon systems to NetKernel.

(might have been helpful on my current "use case" but I''m feeling it would have been a temporary stop-gap regardless so I''m not super worried about it).

The url I stumbled on thanks to google:  http://c2nak.sourceforge.net/book/c2nk/doc_cocoon_guide.html

Thanks all,

Darren
